Spicy Veal Tomato Sauce With Protein Fibre Rotini Pasta
2-3 lbs of ground veal
3 cloves of chopped garlic
1 500g can of pastene purred tomatoes
2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
Dash of salt and pepper
3 cloves of fresh basil
1 cup of water
1 handful of fresh parsley
2 tbsp of hot peppers in oil (jar)
1 350g box of protein fibre rotini pasta
1. In a large flat 2 inch pot, add oil, garlic and ground veal. Cook for about 8-10 mins or until veal browns. 2. Add canned tomato, salt, pepper, hot peppers in oil and water.
3. Stir and cook on low with lid partially on for 25-30 mins.
4. In a seperate pot, boil pasta for 10 mins.
5. Drain pasta and add pasta to sauce. Mix and top with fresh parsley.
Add grated parmegiano cheese if you desire:)
