One Pot Swiss Chard & Beans
1 bunch of cleaned cut swiss chard
1clove of diced garlic
1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
1/2 a white onion chopped
1 can of lentils drained and rinsed
1 can of white beans drained and rinsed
1 can of black beans drained and rinsed
1 cup of water
1 tbsp of tobasco sauce
1/2 a tube or can of organic tomato paste
1 tsp of seasalt and pepper
1 bay leaf
1. Using a large deep flat pot, add garlic, onion and oil and cook for 2-3 mins on low heat.
2. Add swiss chard, lentils, beans, water, tomato paste and spices. Mix well and cook on low heat with lid partially on for 30-35 mins.
